Happy Meal

Here's my " Happy Meal " assignment. The target of happy meal is always for children from 5-12 years old but it's not only children who's gonna buy it. There are many of adult buy it as well because many of them are the collector of happy meal since they were young so they do continue on their collecting.

First of all let take a look at my design.



My design is inspired by Takashi Murakami, Japanese Designer and Artist, he is one of the famous in Asia and over the world and his famous artwork is Kaikai Kiki. It's cartoons that created by him and it looked so wonderful and lively. The reason that I should his work because our target is children. So, they love something that can attached their eyes, feeling and of course it has to make them WANT to buy it. In my opinion, Color and Cartoon always attached their eyes and feeling ... not only them but also adult.


Furthermore, Kaikai Kiki is based on sunflower designing. So, I think the meaning of sunflower is good and he also put the smile on it. It can tell that New Year has come and keep smiling to it. That's really mean Happy Meal and Happy New Year for me.

Anyways, if you take a look at my design, you will see that I really didn't put the word " Happy New Year " on it because Mc Donald never ever put any words that relate to the festival on thier Happy Meal. Everyone will know it automatically that it came out for the festival. So, I think it's not a good idea to break their trademark.



One more thing, it will not be " Happy Meal " without a toy. So, I will put Kaikai Kiki's pillow as a gift. Why ? Because I want to give something to customers that they can use it over a year.

Midterm Assignment: Where is the Love ?

Where is the love is the song for everyone who are finding LOVE. So, I represent LOVE as HEART shape and a tree because Love can grow that what I want to tell in this drawing. Moreover, I use many colors because I want to show that there are many kinds of LOVE in this world.

In the USA the big CIA the Bloodz and the Crips and the KKK
But if you only have love for your own race
Then you only leave space to discriminate
And to discriminate only generates hate
And if you hatin you're bound to get irate
Yeah madness is what you demonstrate
And that's exactly how anger works and operates
You gotta have love just to set it straight
Take control of your mind and meditate
Let your soul gravitate to the love y'all

It just ain't the same all ways have changed
New days are strange is the world the insane?

I feel the weight of the world on my shoulder
As I'm getting older y'all people get colder
Most of us only care about money makin
Selfishness got us followin the wrong direction
Wrong information always shown by the media
Negative images is the main criteria
Infecting their young minds faster than bacteria
Kids wanna act like what the see in the cinema
Whatever happened to the values of humanity
Whatever happened to the fairness and equality
Instead of spreading love, we're spreading anomosity
Lack of understanding, leading us away from unity
That's the reason why sometimes I'm feeling under

I gotta keep my faith alive, until love is found

Assignment 3

This is my third assignment for Advance Drawing. It's my fashion illustration and I got inspired by Pomme Chan's works. Moreover, I also got inspired from fashion show which is Givenchy and Maison Martin Margiela because the first one put the mask on all the models in 2011 Spring/Summer. So, I drawn the mask on it as well but I did try to make it very different and simple. The second one, they designed the tri-angles suit in 2011 Spring/Summer. So, I tried to do something similar as well. For the mask design, I tried to base the design on Architecture which is the popular works of Pomme Chan.

Self Portrait

My portrait is about these characters which are Fashionable, Funny, Sportsman, and Friendly. Moreover, if you look at the detail of the items on this portrait, you will see that I keep wearing sunglasses. The sneakers is refer to studded shoe from Christian Louboutin which in one of my favorite brands. Furthermore, if you look at the face you will see that I keep smiling, I want to tell you that I'm friendly and funny guy. Lastly, I'm also carrying the football shoes which refer to be a sportsman.

What is it ?

it is the communication of fashion that originates with illustration, drawing and painting. It is usually commissioned for reproduction in fashion magazine as one part of an editorial feature or for the purpose of advertising and promoting fashion makers, fashion boutiques and department stores.

What does it use for ?

Most of them use for promoting the product or representing it in many ways. Moreover, it can be in portfolio as well.

Who is your illustrator in that field that inspires you ?

The illustrator who inspires me is Pomme Chan. She has worked with many big names in fashion's world such as GQ magazine, Topshop, Marc Jacobs and etc. More important thing is she is Thai. So, I'm kinda pround to see Thai people become worldwide.

What is unique characters and techniques of her ?

Pomme Chan mostly concentrate on drawing and using many colors to make a beautiful art.
